This is my Ssecond car and absolutely one of my favorite toys.
Although it being one of my favorite things to play with, it certainly is my most expensive. I have put about $3,000 - $5,000 in parts and accesories into this car.
Since I have owned it,
The first major expense/upgrade I did to the car was replace the AC Compressor. It was a pain in the butt to install but I got it done with some help.
The next big thing that happened with my car is that at 116,405 miles the timing belt broke and the engine massivly overheated. New parts included: head set, head bolts, timing belt, water pump, right and left side cam gears, crank gear, tensioner pulley assembly, tensioner, serpentine belt, gasket, and a used fuel rail. On August 22, 2005, three weeks and $2,871.55 later my car was good as new. (I now expect this car to run for a very long time.)
Installed new headlights and replaced all bulbs with silver stars (fogs and headlights).
May 10, 2006 I put on four Focal 17x7 Rims. Wrapped in Yokohama Avid Touring TRZ tires.
The first week of July 2006 I ended up replacing the passenger side ball joint (control arm) and putting in new Inner tie rod bushings. What a horrible job to do, but I got it done and the car handles amazingly.
