| About Me: | Hey guys! The name�s CHET. Thanks for dropping by my page. Let me tell you a little more about myself. I am 25 years of age, currently a working business student.
I started being involved in the import scene at such a very young age. I grew up watching my dad, the real car fanatic, tweak on his car in our garage all the time. He was the one who INTRODUCED me in, TAUGHT me everything, and is now begging me to STOP this crazy hobby! haha jk. It runs in the blood and although my dad is now busy with other things, he is still very supportive of what I do. It was something I simply enjoyed growing up until now.
Back in high school, there was this place called "Libis" near my hometown in the Philippines, where kids my age would usually meet, drag race, and discuss cars. This was a second home for me, a place where I felt free... It was then that I knew this was what I was made to do. This car thing was not just as a hobby, but a lifestyle.
With all these websites coming out today like Friendster and MySpace (which are now, if I may say, overrated�), I was definitely overjoyed to see that someone finally came up with the concept of having a specialized website to showcase rides and even get a chance to win something for it. CARSTER is something new, and definitely a dream come true for me and all other car fanatics out there. Thank you!
This is my ride � an Aspen White �04 Subaru Impreza WRX. It�s still a work in progress and I�m working on trying to get more JDM parts for it, but not so much. I have one ultimate goal for this piece right here, and that is to keep it as �SIMPLE and CLEAN� as I can. No matter how much money you spend buying parts and trying to make it look good, too much stuff going on in a car is a little tacky for me. My only advice is �Simplicity is Beauty.�
If you think my car deserves a VOTE, please do so. I am trying to win the prestigious title as �carster of the month� just coz my gf would be happy to see me on the banner. (Haha jk!) Of course, I would love to have a little extra money in my pocket, but it�s more on the joy it brings and the legacy I will bring by winning something nice like this. I vow to do my best to keep this culture alive and help all the people I come across with along the way. Thanks for your support! =)
