My Carster IMO of the year: I don't care if you vote for this car don't; not here to win any contest, just showing off the ride. But if you're voting for stock Celica's and neons and shit: first of all you're fucking gay, second, you're making the community weak.
Anybody can drive a stock car, what the hell are we congratulating these people for??? Their freakin' car buying skills or the advice they got from a friend to get a cool car??? BFD. I thought car sites like this are about showing off customized rides and the work that we put into our cars, not this 'omg I just got my first honda 4 banger w/ vtec stickers, yay!' type crap. If you send someone a form email that starts out somthing like "I like your ride... I'm trying to win carster of the week/month, etc...." and you drive a STOCK POS, you don't deserve any votes, you deserve a kick in the nuts. I am not going to waste a vote on you because you took 3 seconds to draft and email the entire group. Frankly, I can't find 5 cars that I feel I can spend my votes on in the first place when I get those emails here, but that's another story. Spend some time modding your car & then we'll talk. I really don't care that your mom just bought you a Chrysler Sebring convertible or a '92 Civic.
What the hell is this car culture coming to? The only reason I set this site up (in all of an hour) is to put out the work I did to my car and share it w/ the Subie crowd. Are you so bored of myspace and Tekken that you've made a website for your shitbox? Criminy.
That being said, I love my WRX to bits so if you're into the Subies, send a shout!
Other than that, I've found this site to be pretty uneventuful and useless.
Update: I just logged in and read this for the first time in like a year. Man I crack myself up sometimes!!! Oh how I DGAF about this thing right now. |
