I had a difficult time when looking for a car, because I needed something with room yet I wanted a sports car with great handling and a serious engine under the hood. The Cayenne Turbo was the last car I looked at, and I was sold on the spot -- it has the cargo space of an SUV, I can comfortably haul out of town guests around, and yet the thing barrels down the road and corners on a dime. This is the first SUV I've ever owned and I'm happy as hell with it.

I love its curvy exterior (and I ordered the aerodynamic package, which slimmed down its more boxy edges), the optional glass roof is totally great as it provides air and a view for even the backseat passengers, it's a pleasure to ride in with its luxe leather interior and solid build, plus there's a lot of leg and headroom, which is important to me, as I'm a taller driver (6'2").

I never thought I'd love an SUV, but I really dig my Cayenne Turbo. I'm planning on taking it on a road trip this Spring -- drive it around the United States on a long-overdue sight-seeing trip. I would ordinarily dread such a thing, but the Cayenne Turbo is so much fun to drive that I'm really looking forward to getting out of town and spending a couple of months on the road. Who'd have thought?

Took the Cayenne Turbo on a long road trip in mid-March -- drove from Seattle to Las Vegas via Jackson Hole, Wyoming and down through Denver. I was a little nervous about Jackson Hole, as I ordered the Turbo with 20" wheels and they don't make any approved Porsche tires for the 20" wheel that are any good in snow. But I didn't have to worry -- the thing drove great, even in bad weather, and stuck to the road with its factory Michelins. I felt safe and secure, not to mention comfortable! The only drawback was the drive from Jackson Hole down to Denver, with the highway a mess of slush and gravel. Every time I passed a line of trucks, the Cayenne was showered with gravel and dirt -- I just gritted my teeth and floored it. My windshield is now full of tiny little chips and scratches, but other than that, I made it through without any damage and without a speeding ticket!

I'm thinking about what to do with the Turbo -- I've had it long enough to where it needs a facelift to seem fresh. New rims, a more colorful paint job, some work on the interior . . .

This car treats me better than my personal assistant does -- it's faster, more reliable and definitely better looking.

Thanks -- I think this car rocks, too! I don't think it would beat your Continental GT in a race, though.
