1991 Toyota Celica GT-Four RC

This is 1 of only 5000 examples of this model produced by Toyota in order for them to use the car in the WRC rally in the early 1990's.

The GT-Four RC features the wide body design as seen in other models but with a re-designed front bumper which is lighter and designed to allow much better air fow, not only that - it looks good! The rear bumper is also lighter and slightly re-designed.

The bonnet was also re-designed and this allows us to easily identify a GT-Four RC. This time the bonnet features a large vent allowing hot air to rise upward from the Intercooler rather than the traditional scoop as seen on other models of GT-Four which force cool air down into the intercooler.

The most noticeable change under the bonnet is the water-to-air intercooler, which is much more efficient than its air-to-air cousin. The turbo charger is slightly larger and is metal rather than ceramic. The GT-Four RC was fitted with the E151F low ratio gearbox. The ECU is better with higher fuel and ignition mappings at 17 to 18PSI. And like all models of the GT-Four, it has Full Time 4WD.

Modifictions

As for modifications this car has been fitted with a BOV, Manual Boost Tap, 3" Aussie HPC Down Pipe, and Boost Gauge.

My next small project is some new wheels - The TRD T3 Sports Bronze

who would vote for an All-trac over an RC... they must be out of their minds... Dustin

yeah, as far as I know it's the only street legal one. I only know of one other one and it's a '91 (prefacelift version). The foglights are real hard to come by.. I hope I don't break one accidentally, the last set I saw went for $265 USD. Dustin
