About Me: I was born in Riverside, California in 1987. I lived with there in Riverside with my Dad working for Phillip Morris and my mom working retail in at a local Vans. When I was 3 we moved from California because my dad didnt want to raise his kids(my brother was 2 months old)where he grew up. He wanted us away from all the influence that California has to offer in favor of a VERY small community in Fair Grove, Missouri. Fair Grove consisted of less than 2000 citizens (BIG change from the LA area). I attended my first years of school in Fair Grove before finally moving into Springfield (about 250,000 people). I have lived in Springfield ever since moving only to different parts of the south side of town. I attended two more elementaries before middle school (Cherookee-GO INDIANS!). I did Track/Field during my 7th and 8th grade years and grew a love for the sport. I attended High School at Kickapoo (GO CHIEFS!) continuing my Track career and starting Cross Country. When I got my license my parents had gotten me a 93 Altima that my dad had repoed from a friend and no other use for it. I was getting my license soon sohe decided it was a good first car for me to learn on and use when I actually got my license. After a year of driving with no accidents or tickets I decided I wanted somthing new. We went car shopping. I knew I wanted some kind of import like a civic or accord becuase of their considerable gas mileage. We wennt to many car lot around town. At one there were two Acuras, A Legend and an 4 dr Integra LS. Sitting in the Legend I immediately began disliking the car becuase of the huge amount of luxury for such a car. It didnt feel right. I immediatley fell in love with the Integra. Midnight blue with charcoal interior and chrome trim. It was a beautiful car and im virtual mint condition. They even had the origial sticker from the lot when it was bought new. My parents said we should keep looking and we might find something better. Needless to say we didnt. After about two days I went to my parents and told them I wanted the Integra. We checked insurance costs (my parents are insurance agents =)) and decided I was financially capable owning the vehicle. We went back to the lot where we found the car and test drove it (my dad drove becuase it wasnt legal for me to) to make sure it ran well. It ran Beautifully. We began to fill out the paper work and I remebered I had practice that afternoon. With the paperwork still incomplete, the lady that sold me the car threw me the keys and said to come back later when I was done with practice. I rushed to the car opened the door and started the engine and took off. It drove like a dream. I ended up being 17 minutes late for practice. My coach was not happy. For being late we did what we call "the iron cross". For 17 minutes (1 minute off, 1 minute on) I had to hold 5 pound weights straight out at shoulder level. But it was worth being late. I have owned my Integra since then and loved every minute of it.
