Well, here I am! Now what...?

Wednesday Oct 24, 2007 05:12:00 PM

I'm Don Falloon, from Citrus Heights, CA. My car on here is a 1964 Ford Galaxie stock car replica, a tribute to NASCAR legend Fireball Roberts; "Project Fireball".

It's possible that you've seen the car on websites like Cardomain, Hot Rod and Car Craft. So, why add another? Well, like anyone who reads this drivel, I'm proud of my car and the fact that it is a testament to my love of historic NASCAR, a result of my vision, my sweat and my blood.

Along with my buddy Don "Led Zeppelin" Hartwick (a.k.a. The Other Don), we've made it a bit of a challenge between each other to see just how many places we can get our respective cars seen and recognized. With me, it's a street-legal 60s-era stock car replica. With Don (Led Zeppelin on carster.com, as well as other car-related sites), it's his sharing of his metallic blue Saturn, code named "Stitch".

Bottom line: we're having fun here, and hope that you see our cars and postings in that light. Our cars may not possess the "Bling Factor" that many other owners bestow upon their cars, but they're as perfect for us as your car is to you.

Hopefully, you'll take the time to drop by again down the road when I might actually have some intelligent insights to share with you on here. Until then, thank you for visiting!
