So, just how many sites are you guys on?

My bestest car buddy Don (whom you may better know on here as Led Zeppelin) and I have a lot of fun on Carster, but we don't limit ourselves to just this venue.
Carster is great. But it (at this time) doesn't have the level of exposure as some other sites. It deserves more attention. In a way, me and Don/Led Z. and our blatant attempt to take over the gearhead web-world by posting our rides on other websites is a way of drawing more attention here as well.
It also serves as a lighthearted competition between Don and me. I'm fortunate that my "Fireball" has a few more sites available than his "Stitch". But we're working to change that. More on that in a moment...
Okay, so on what other websites have I parked Fireball? Let me count the ways: Carster.com, CarDomain.com, PopularHotRodding.com, HotRod.com, CarCraft.com, FordMuscle.com, Buildsheet.com, MuscleMustangFastFords.com, RideRoom.com, CoolFords.com, HotRodHotline.com, and a spot on the New York Times website's automotive section. And I have about 4 others that I will be adding to my list of occupied sites. (The only thing I've missed is a site for my car on MySpace.com... and I may very well be the only person left on this earth without a MySpace page at this point in time. We'll see...)
Why so many sites? Again, that's part of the fun. Part of the social networking concept. Part of the whole idea for building a car that you feel is worthy enough to drive, and to share with other like-minded car nuts.
And, at $3.25 a gallon for gas (as of 1/13/08), it's a lot cheaper to run your car on recycled electrons and share it over the net than it is to drive it all over the world.
Oh, and The Other Don and I have a plan to get "Stitch" on more websites... by putting it in disguise so it can blend in with other car makes. What? Stay tuned...
Above all, blanketing the net with our cars is pretty much just because we want to, and we can. And there's really nothing wrong with that.
That's my 2 cents. Your mileage may vary.
