This past weekend, I attended one of four stops for the Orange County Choppers In America 2006 tour. The show was great! I got to see up-close many of the bikes that I'd previously only watched being built on the Discovery
Channel. But not only were bikes showcased at the event, cars were featured, as well.
And with any event like this, the participation of the people in attendance is what really makes it fun. This was especially proven to be true during the live show conducted by the cast of OCC. Audience members were asked to
each
pick out an individual part that they would like to see on their dream bike, and then it was assembled right in front of us all, utilizing their various choices. It was a cool display of interactivity, and the resulting bike was
put into a contest to be given away as a prize on the final day of the event.
I didn't win the bike, just in case you were wondering.
Most all of the cast of OCC was in attendance, and yes, they act just like they do on the show. Here are a few pics - hope you enjoy!
